Our Story
Dylan Wainwright is a independent filmmaker in the Pacific Northwest where he has worked at almost every position on a film set throughout his career; from featured extra to dolly grip.
However, writing and directing has always been Dylan's passion. When younger, Dylan was an award winning theater director and co-founder of a comedy troupe. But he always aspired to write and direct films.
Then events in his life intervened and Dylan had to put that dream on hold for over a decade. Eventually Dylan found his way back to filmmaking through the Northwest Indie scene where he gained a wealth of knowledge regarding every aspect of filmmaking.
Dylan has always had an interest in visual effects since seeing Star Wars in theaters in 1977. In recent years he immersed himself in the study of Virtual Production. In 2020 Dylan participated in the second cohort of the Epic Games Virtual Production Fellowship.
While studying Virtual Production, Dylan also continued to pursue his passion for writing and directing and found ways of incorporating Virtual Production into personal projects for added production value and scope.
Dylan is currently working as a Virtual Production Supervisor on various projects while also developing his own projects and career as an "up and coming" writer/director.
